Directions:
- Grate the unpeeled apple, discard core and seeds.
- In a large bowl combine bran flakes, flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
- Stir in the grated apple.
- In another bowl, combine the remaining ingredients, mixing well.
- Pour the liquid ingredients into the dry and stir until moistened.
- Bake at 375 for about 20 minutes.
- Makes 12 to 14.
