Directions:
- Soak beans overnight, keep covered with water as they swell.
- Drain water off and replace with fresh water to cover.
- Bring to a boil, lower heat and cook until beans are soft and begin to split, approximately 1 hour.
- Add remaining ingredients, stir, cover and put in 350 F oven and cook for 2 to 3 hours.
