Maple Butterscotch Pie

Ingredients:
Maple Sugar 3/4 cup(s)
Flour 1/3 cup(s)
Milk 2 cup(s)
Butter 3 tbsp
Vanilla 1 tsp
Egg Yolks, Beaten 3 unit(s)

Directions:

  • Combine sugar, flour and salt.
  • Gradually stir in milk.
  • Cook and stir until mixture thickens.
  • Cook 2 minutes longer, remove from heat.
  • Stir small amount of hot mixture into beaten egg yolks, return to hot mixture and cook and stir 2 minutes longer.
  • Remove from heat, add butter and vanilla.
  • Cool.
  • Pour into baked shell.
  • Top with meringue.
